Type-I

Choose the group of letters which is different from the others:

1. Small and Capital letter relationship

Example

Explanation: Each pair contains two capital letters and one small letter and a natural alphabetic sequence is followed, in (5) there is only one capital letter and between 'f' and 'h', 'g' has been skipped.

2. Vowel-Consonant Relationship

Example

Ans. (3)

Explanation: Each group of letters consists of two vowels, one each in the beginning and end. In between two vowels, three letters in alphabetical sequence are given. In (3) there is only one vowel.

3. Repetition and Skipping Relationship

Example

1. aab dee 2. bbc eff 3. ffg ijj                 4. trr ggh

Ans. (4)

Explanation: In each group, the initial and final letters are repeated and an interviewing letter is omitted.

Letter form relationship

Example

1. T 2. H 3. K       4. F    5. 5

Ans. (5)

Explanation: All letters are formed by straight lines except 5 which is a curved letter.

Choose the one which is different from others

Example

1. 385   2. 572 3. 671           4. 264           5. 427

Ans. (5)

Explanation: The middle digit is sum of the other two. This property is not satisfied in (E).

6. Choose the one which is different from rest three

Example

1. 2468 2. 2648 3. 4826                 4. 6482

Ans. (1)

Explanation: Numbers are in increasing order or proper order, but in others numbers are in random order.

7. Choose the odd one

Example

1. 27      2. 63    3. 42           4. 7             5. 49

Ans. (1)

Explanation: All others are multiple of 7.

8. Choose the odd one

Example

1. 21 2. 69 3. 81           4. 83

Ans. (4)

Explanation: (4) is prime number, other numbers are divisible by 3 but (4) is not.

9. Choose the numeral pair which is different from others

Example

1. 43-4 2. 36-6 3. 32-2                 4. 15-5

Ans. (1)

Explanation: The second number divides the first completely.

Example

Ans. (4)

Explanation: All others pairs have digits in reverse order.
